Explainer videos
Cartoon explainer videos that get to the point
A good explainer answers one question fast: what is this and why should I care? I make short stick-figure cartoons that do that, with a script, a voiceover, animation, music and sound effects, for a fixed price.
What you can use one for
- A product or app. The problem, what your product does about it, and what to click next. Like the Pennyfold sample above.
- A process. How your onboarding works, how a claim gets handled, what happens after someone signs up.
- An idea or a bit of history. For a channel, a class or a newsletter. My own YouTube videos are this kind.
- Social clips. A vertical 30 to 50 second version for Shorts, Reels or TikTok.
How a video gets made
- Script. You tell me what the video has to explain and who's watching. I write a script and send it to you before any animation starts. About 130 to 150 spoken words make a minute.
- Voiceover. A natural-sounding AI voice in English, timed word by word so the animation can hit the right beat. Prefer a human voice or your own? Send a recording and I'll build around it.
- Animation. Stick figures with big heads, simple props and bold text on screen. The style is deliberately plain so the message is the star.
- Sound. Royalty-free music, sound effects on the jokes and the cuts, and a mix that's loud enough for phones.
- Delivery. An MP4 in 1080p, ready for YouTube, your site or an ad platform. You get one or two rounds of changes depending on the package.

Questions people ask
Can you match my brand colors? Yes. Send your colors and logo and I'll use them for backgrounds, props and the end card.
Who owns the video? You do, once it's paid. Music and sound effects are licensed for that use.
Other languages? Ask first. Dutch works. For other languages I'll tell you honestly how good the voice sounds before you pay.
